Crying, irritable baby

Some babies cope extremely well with even quite severe retained moulding and compression, and are contented and happy. For others it is a very different story, and they can display a variety of problems.

A crying, fractious, irritable baby needs to be rocked to sleep and prefers being carried. This may be because the baby is uncomfortable, with a constant feeling of pressure in the head. This could be made worse by the extra pressure on the head when lying down.

By assessing and treating any retained compression from the birth we can help make your child more comfortable and allow them to adopt normal resting positions.
